Big Red Soda

A simple classic that is a huge seller in our store.  Created in Waco, TX back in 1937 it was originally known as Sun Tang Red Cream Soda.  This is the original red cream soda.  In 1959 the name was changed to Big Red after the president at the time heard a golf caddy refer to the soda by that name.   Until the 1970s it was sold only in the central and south Texas region.  Tasting like bubble gum the flavor is brought about by mixing orange and lemon oils with traditional vanilla like other cream sodas.
