Cherry Pop Rocks

The original flavor of Pop Rocks.  Pop Rocks is a carbonated candy that creates a fizz when dissolving in the mouth.  First offered to the public in 1975 and stopped production in 1983.  Some believed it was due to the urban legend of eating Pop Rocks with a carbonated soda and the persons stomach exploding.    In reality, it was stopped because its popularity had run its course at the time.
