Fitz Root Beer first was introduced in 1947 at a hamburger joint in Richmond Heights, Missouri. The secret formula was developed with the help of a flavor house in St. Louis and remains a closely guarded secret to this day. The root beer became a St. Louis favorite that is now available in specialty stores throughout the US.
