Since 1853, Saranac Root Beer is made in small batches in their hometown Brewery in Utica, NY.  This makes Saranac (Matt Brewing Company) the second oldest brewery in the United States.  In 1888 the brewery name was changed and the label lists 1888 prominently on the bottle.  The flavor will take you to the fresh root beer taste from days-gone-by.
