Mark Kristen, Boots' son, wished to resurrect the soda business in his father's honor after observing the surge of craft beer in the Lone Star State. Those craft beer memories reminded him of the regional sodas he devoured as a kid. Mark knew that the passion for true Texas-style drinks would extend to Boots Beverages.
